Exploring Inquiry

This page is dedicated to show my thought process and brainstorming in working towards my inquiry.

SIX 1-MIN Prompts

1. What is on my mind right now?
2. What have been your favorite recent memories?
3. What is an experience you will never forget?
4. What brings you joy?
5. What do you wonder about?
6. What makes you different than any other human being in this world?

FOUR Qs

Which unique ideas and experiences do you want to use to inform your artwork?

When making my artworks, I want to utilize my own observations and personal experiences as much as possible in order to produce the most authentic and personal pieces. I'm intrigued by topics that everyone can connect to: climate change, social issues and childhood.

How can you combine these ideas and experiences to create guiding questions for your sustained investigation?

Based on my personal knowledge and the addition of research, I can investigate deeper into these broad topics and begin asking questions. In what ways are humans destroying the planet? What will be the consequences? To what extent do social issues shape the society we live in today? What were the joys of childhood? The bad? Questioning everything will lead me to be more specific.

What materials and processes do you want to use to develop your ideas?

I want to mainly produce art through the use of digital media. I plan to use processes that I'm comfortable with such as photography, drawing, collage, painting and maybe even endeavor in new, but familiar processes such as charcoal and spraying.

How will you practice experiment, and revise your materials, processes, and ideas?

By trying things out and seeing what works and what doesn't. Making different versions (sketches) of a piece and going with the best.
